Chase Farm Milk

Chase Farm Milk

We've been working with Lisa at Chase Farm since we opened in 2018, she first opened up her business in 2016 while just selling pasteurised milk but in 2019 she expanded to producing ice cream in addition to selling her milk products.

First the milk is pasteurised on site and the majority of the milk is sent to a processor, making it safe to drink while still being creamy and fresh. The bottles are then hand filled, ensuring the food miles for this product are as small as possible. The milk is bottled into glass bottles, both for the authentic taste and to encourage people to take place in a glass recycling scheme where people can earn money back for returning and reusing the glass bottles.
Lisa believes that buying into local produce is important because not only does it benefit the local community and economy, it has a smaller carbon footprint and therefore food miles for products that can be produced locally are significantly reduced. Lisa also believes it is important that people know where their produce is coming from and how it is made, from cow to bottle.
