It's time to evolve again...
... a bit like Dr Who we've reinvented and evolved Forest Deli many times since we opened, and now it's time for another change.
For many reasons we will be closing the shop in Coleford on Friday the 9th October. We've loved every minute of the last eight and a half years, but it's time for us to downsize.
We're not disappearing, you'll find us popping up with cheese at local markets and events and other locations across the Forest.
We've invested over the years with our lovely electric delivery van, and in building our website which will remain open for click and collect ordering and local delivery. We've also built our very own production kitchen, perfect for making sure that our cheese is kept and prepared in tip top condition. Here we’ll be further developing our Forest Delights product range of fudge, preserves and chutneys.
We'll continue to offer gifts and hampers online, going back to our roots of supporting our very local suppliers who we've been working with since we started.
To be honest we don't exactly know what the future will look like (who does?!), and we're going to take a bit of time to take a breath and work out the next steps. Right now, we're still stocked and ready to welcome you in the shop. There will be some very special offers in the coming weeks, great for early Christmas shopping :) For those booked into cheese and local brew and other local events, your dates are still valid and we'll still be supplying cheese.
If you have any paper gift vouchers please redeem them in the shop before we close, electronic gift vouchers will continue to be valid online. To our lovely loyalty card holders keep an eye on email and we'll update you as how to use or transition your loyalty card points.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has shopped with us in Coleford over the years, and we hope that you will continue to support us and our lovely local suppliers in this new lighter weight version of Forest Deli.
