Turmeric and Ginger Porridge

Turmeric and Ginger Porridge Recipe

Ingredients:

80g Porridge oats
1 tsp Parva Spices Turmeric & Ginger Infusion
600ml Chase Farm milk
Pinch salt
Runny or set honey to taste

Stove Method:

  1. Put the porridge oats, turmeric & ginger, salt in a non stick saucepan.
  2. Add the milk and gently bring to the boil.
  3. Reduce to a medium heat and simmer for 10 – 15 minutes until the porridge is thick and creamy.
  4. Serve in a bowl and add honey to taste.

Microwave Method:

  1. Put the porridge oats, turmeric & ginger and salt in a heat proof non metallic bowl.
  2. Add the milk and stir.
  3. Cook on high in the microwave for 2 1/2 minutes. Remove and stir. Continue to cook at 30 second intervals until the porridge is thick and creamy.
  4. Serve in a bowl and add honey to taste.
