You want to be sure you have the most locally sourced freshest quality food for when you are out and about exploring the Forest of Dean, because experiencing what’s local is part of the picnic experience for you. Great food, ready to collect and ready to eat, with minimal prep. It doesn’t have to be a big picnic, if you like what you have ordered, we hope you will definitely be back for more. Why spend time looking for something else when you can be enjoying the great outdoors and all the activities the Forest of Dean has to offer.
We can provide cutlery, plates and serviettes (which are either recycled or recyclable) on request and for no extra charge, meaning you can take your picnic straight from the deli to your destination. We can even box cheeses separately so they’ll stay cold and not get squished, because no one likes a warm, squished cheese!

No, as your picnic will be freshly made and put together in the morning, we are only able to offer click and collect.
As our picnics contain homemade treats made on the day you collect it, we recommend that you enjoy your picnic the same day. We know you’ll want to dive straight in anyway!
If you’re planning on taking your picnic on a day out into the forest, we can provide cold packs to make sure everything stays as cold and as fresh as possible.
As standard, we’ll put your picnic in squish-proof containers and forest eco-friendly paper bags. However, if you are planning a special occasion, we can provide alternative containers such as a picnic hamper or even a basket for the front of your bike! Just let us know if you would like one of these when you place your order. A deposit will be required on collection.
Yes, we have fully biodegradable and plastic free plates, cutlery, and napkins which we can pack into your picnic so it is ready for you to enjoy whenever and wherever.
Like our hampers, if you are planning on enjoying our picnics as a celebratory treat or just gifting someone else a tasty forest picnic, we can include a personalised gift message. Just type in your chosen message in the “Gift Messages” box when you enter your details when placing your order online.
We’ll do everything we possibly can to assist, however, we do regularly use many of the specified allergens in our kitchen. If you have a food allergy or special dietary requirement, please contact us before placing your order.

We have a ready-made vegetarian picnic for our “Backpack Picnic” which you can order here. However, if you would like one of our other ready-made picnics made vegetarian, please contact us and we will offer some alternative suggestions. We do also have the option to create your own picnic.
